Teams are forming for CincySings, the singing competition ArtsWave started in 2014.

The success of the event, in which singing groups from the region's top employers show off their talents, has gained national attention and wowed local crowds.

In addition to raising awareness of ArtsWave and its annual Community Campaign, CincySings leverages the power of the arts to create community. The sing-offs that lead up to CincySings have become a staple at some of the region’s largest businesses, including P&G and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Building on Cincinnati's rich choral history, exemplified by the May Festival, CincySings raises support for the arts in our community and builds connections among coworkers.

“Accenture is a proud sponsor of this event as we have seen firsthand the excitement and energy it brings to the workplace! ArtsWave creates vibrancy and brings people together to create a stronger community,” said Marco Ziegler, managing director - products consumer goods and services for Accenture.

The CincySings Semi-Finals will be 2 p.m. March 20 at the Jarson Kaplan Theatre at the Aronoff Center, and the final competition is set for 7 p.m. April 13 at Music Hall.

Two teams — the groups from Great American Insurance Group and Macy’s Customer and Credit Services — already have guaranteed spots in the CincySings final thanks to their winning performances in 2015.
