Get ready to play! ArtsWave Days, Brought to you by Macy’s, kicks off February 3 with Play Day, full of hands-on performances, crafts and classes for kids and their grown-ups. Visit The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati in their new Red Bank home and experience jazz, drama, improv and creative classes, not to mention performances of "The Cat in the Hat" and "Maya Angelou: A Writer’s Legacy."

Stop by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company to make egg shakers, then use them to join in a music performance! While you're there, enjoy the Children’s Choir’s Bel Canto Choir and "Why Shakespeare," an interactive performance for families with middle and high school students featuring some of the Bard's greatest speeches and scenes. Finally, Company members will provide a mini performance of William Shakespeare's classic, "A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

At The Carnegie you'll find hands-on art making and drama games, and the Campbell County Library will host ballet performances from CCM, face painting from Rainbow Faces, Roundabout Opera for Kids’s “Trip Jones and Case of the Missing Music.” You'll also enjoy "Jumping over the Moon" with Mad Cap Puppets.
