The May Festival is making church even better. On May 18, the two-week celebration of choral music will begin. This event is deeply embedded into Greater Cincinnati's identity. It began in the 1840s, when Saengerfests brought performers from all over the country to the Queen City. Today, The May Festival performs every year at Music Hall, bringing members of the community into the fold to sing along.

On Sunday, May 20, The May Festival and community singers will be performing a free concert, "Sing Hallelujah." The May Festival’s 2018 Creative Partner, Dr. Rollo Dilworth, will conduct. Dr. Dilworth promises to curate an event unlike any other. Using the exceptional talent in the region, this concert will uplift and inspire, but also get you moving. "Sing Hallelujah" will run the gamut of genres from classical and gospel choirs to country and rock bands.

Please join us for an exploration of the expression “Hallelujah.” The word is common to all cultures, races and philosophies. The event is free, and all are welcome. For more information and tickets, visit ArtsWave Guide.
