Now is also the moment to look forward to exciting events in the New Year.  At ArtsWave, we’re focused on the 2015 Annual Community Campaign.  Here are just a few reasons we’re getting excited to kick-off in Feburary:

1. 2015 Campaign Chair Tom Williams: Great campaigns begin with great leadership and we are thrilled to have Tom leading the charge this year. As President and Chief Executive Officer of North American Properties, Tom Williams has grown the company from a local owner/developer to a multi-regional real estate operating company that has acquired, developed, and managed more than $4 billion of retail, multifamily, mixed-use and office properties across the United States.  Since 2006, Tom has also served as the Vice Chairman and Treasurer for the Cincinnati Reds.  Tom has long been a powerful voice advocating for development in our region, serving in numerous civic leadership roles.  Now as the Chair of our 2015 Annual Community Campaign, he’s reaching out to business leaders across Greater Cincinnati to advocate for the arts as differentiator for our region and a key to community development.

2. Baseball Fever: Yes, we’re excited about the 2015 All-Star Game coming to Cincinnati in July. It’s a great opportunity for us to showcase our city’s unique history, welcoming spirit, and creative spirit.  In anticipation, we are cooking up several exciting collaborations with our partners, the Cincinnati Reds, for the 2015 Community Campaign and beyond.  Stay tuned for more details in the New Year.

3. An Expanded Toast to the Arts: Last year, we introduced a new program, “Toast to the Arts”, that offered diners at more than 20 restaurants a chance to give back to ArtsWave by selecting one of two special wines with their meal.  In 2015, look for an expanded list of partners and a new way to quench your thirst for the arts: beer!  That’s right, Cincinnati’s hopping brewery scene is getting in on the action in February during Cincinnati Beer Week with events and brews to support the campaign.  Look for a complete schedule of events in January.

4. A Fresh New Look at TheArtsWave.org: Our friends at US Digital Partners are hard at work over the holidays preparing for the launch of our newly re-designed website. Look for more great stories of impact, more ways to get involved, and easier navigation throughout the site in February 2015.
