Photo Fun at Home
With the Google Arts and Culture app, you and your coworkers can create fun shareable moments for your campaign. Try it as part of a digital competition between departments or as an engagement opportunity to bring some joy during uncertain times. The sky is the limit!
Here are some brief instructions to get started:
1) Download the Google Arts and Culture app on your device (
Apple App Store,
Google Play)
2) Open the app and click the round button at the bottom to open the menu (see photo)
3) You're ready to explore! See below for two fun ways you can use this app.
Art Transfer
Take a photo and transform it with classic artworks
1) After tapping the round button at the bottom of the screen (previous step), you'll see a menu. Select the top menu item, "Art Transfer."
2) Follow the onscreen instructions and take a photo
3) Follow onscreen instructions to "Choose a style" and see your photo transformed.
4) Share using the "Share" button to your favorite social media (tag @ArtsWave!) and to however your internal campaign is using these.
Art Selfie
Discover portraits that look like you.
1) After tapping the round button at the bottom of the screen (see above), tap "Art Selfie" near the top of the menu.
2) Follow the onscreen instructions and take a photo
3) Scroll through your results to find your favorite one.
4) Share to social media or save to your phone by hitting the "share" icon on top right of your selected photo. Also be sure to share internally as well.
